NCD?

How on earth am I going to explain
Natural Church Development?

Do I write about the most extensive research project ever to determine the universal principles of church growth?

Will I write about the 8 Quality Characteristics that apply across different styles of churches, denominations and even across the globe?

Maybe I could tell them about the various NCD Tools aimed at helping them develop those 8 areas?

Then there is the focus on church health that leads to 'all by itself' growth.

I suppose some would be interested to know that since it began 10 years ago, NCD has become a rapidly growing network in 70 countries.

Most would probably be interested in what has happened to churches that have been applying the NCD principles for some period of time.

I guess some might be interested to hear that NCD is providing a new way of looking at church planting.

There'd probably be some interest in the 800+ churches across 25 denominations and movements that have engaged with NCD in Australia.

Or I could just let Christian Schwarz tell them about NCD himself.

Hmmm... Perhaps I should skip all of that and just let them know that at the end of the day, NCD is about a fuller and deeper experience of God.

Well, I've got no idea where to start. I'll just tell them about the process and let them start their own unique NCD journey.
